Health & Safety matters!
At CalSystems we take Health & Safety seriously, not only to protect ourselves, but our clients.
Our team are trained on lifting and working at heights, however it is very important with the nature of our work to know what to expect in the environment we go in, just so we can prepare for every eventuality.

All our staff are equipped with their own PPE:
Hi-Vis
Ear Protection (for long exposure to sound)
Steel Toe Cap shoes

If you require additional ear plugs for staff at your event, let us know the quantity and we can include them in the price.

Risk Assessments
Due to the on-the-go nature of our work, most of our risk assessments are done against each member of our team prior to their first job with us. This involves the need to work with chemicals (during maintenance), power tools, use of ladders, working at heights, and even the safe practice of our electrical equipment.
When there is a specific risk to a job, we will do an assessment there and then with our team members involved. This is particularly an issue when we are working outside in the elements:
Slippery ground, Mud, and where stages are built on an incline.

Electrical Safety
Our equipment is rigorously tested upon it’s initial install to our racks.
We have a visual inspection on all equipment monthly, and PAT test annually.
